Easter Breakfast Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll dough
  • 6 eggs
  • 2/3 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line an 18×26-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Roll out the crescent dough on the prepared baking sheet. Fold over the edges to create a crust and pinch the seams together.

Step 4 –Crack the eggs onto the dough in a single layer and sprinkle with the cheese and the bacon.

Step 5 –Season the tart with the salt and the black pepper.

Step 6 –Bake the tart until the crust is golden and the egg whites are set, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 7 –Serve the tart garnished with the chives.
