Easy Baked Chicken Breasts

All you have to do is season them with zesty Creole seasoning, bake them, and make a quick and tasty pan sauce with the drippings? That’s it? Well, yes, that’s it! Ingredients

  • 4 (5-ounce) chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt, or to taste
  • Creole seasoning, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chicken broth, plus more to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Rub the chicken breasts with the olive oil and sprinkle both sides with the salt and the Creole seasoning.

Step 3 –Place the chicken in a broiler pan.

Step 4 –Bake the chicken, flipping halfway through, until no longer pink in the center, the juices run clear, and the internal temperature is 165 degrees F, about 25 minutes.

Step 5 –Transfer the chicken to a plate.

Step 6 –Pour the chicken broth into the broiler pan and using a flat-edged wooden spatula, scrape up any browned bits off the bottom of the pan.

Step 7 –Drizzle the pan sauce over the chicken.

Step 8 –Serve.
