Aww, look at them! Baby Burgers! So tiny and so tasty! These little savory bundles of flavor are swaddled in a bun and topped with classics like melty American cheese and sour pickles to really enhance all that beefy flavor. You can absolutely serve Baby Burgers as a main course, but you could also serve them up as an appetizer for barbeques, garden parties, or even just dinner parties that need a little extra fun added to them. Everyone will be cooing over Baby Burgers… while they pick out their preferred condiments, of course!
Ingredients
- 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 8 hot dog buns, cut into thirds
- 6 dill pickle sandwich slices, cut into quarters
- 6 slices American cheese, cut into quarters
Directions
Step 1 –Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Coat a 13×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Step 3 –In a bowl, mix the beef, the onion, the ketchup, and the mustard together.
Step 4 –Arrange the bottom halves of the buns, cut-side up, in the prepared baking pan.
Step 5 –Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture onto each bun and flatten with a spatula.
Step 6 –Top each of the meat mixtures with the pickles, the cheese, and the top of the bun.
Step 7 –Bake, covered, until the internal temperature of the meat reads 160 degrees F.
Step 8 –Serve.
