Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated jumbo buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 (9.6-ounce) package pork sausage crumbles
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Bake the biscuits according to package directions.

Step 2 –While the biscuits are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat.

Step 3 –Cook the sausage until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently, about 5-6 minutes.

Step 4 –Add the flour to the skillet, while stirring, then slowly add the milk.

Step 5 –Cook until the gravy comes to a low boil and thickens, stirring constantly.

Step 6 –Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 more minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 7 –Season to taste with the salt and the pepper.

Step 8 –Cut the biscuits in half and serve with the warm gravy!
