Easy Cajun Shrimp

In under five minutes (yes, you read that right), this Easy Cajun Shrimp can be ready to be enjoyed! Think of all the time you’ll be saving as you’re actually enjoying a big plate piled high of these tender, tropical bites loaded with spicy, yummy flavors. Serve them over a bed of rice, a bowl filled with greens, or even as the star of your taco show… no matter how you eat these Easy Cajun Shrimp, we know they’ll always be a very deliciously efficient use of your minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, tail-on or peeled, deveined, thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • rice, optional, to taste, cooked and warm, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Pat the shrimp dry.

Step 2 –In a medium bowl, mix the shrimp, the salt, the Cajun seasoning, the garlic powder, and the onion powder together.

Step 3 –In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.

Step 4 –Add the seasoned shrimp to the oil and cook until they are just opaque and cooked through, about 1-2 minutes per side.

Step 5 –Serve the shrimp with the rice.
