Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 1 pound chicken breast, boneless and diced
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- sesame seeds, to taste
- green onion, thinly sliced, to taste
For the sauce:
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Directions
Step 1 –In a bowl, combine the chicken, the egg, 3 tablespoons of the cornstarch, and the soy sauce.
Step 2 –Allow the chicken to marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes and up to 1 hour.
Step 3 –In a small bowl, mix the chicken broth, the remaining cornstarch, the sugar, and the lemon juice.
Step 4 –In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
