  • 4 large croissants, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed fresh berries
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • maple syrup, to taste


Step 1 –Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

Step 2 –Place the croissants and the berries into the prepared baking dish.

Step 3 –In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth.

Step 4 –Add the milk, the sugar, the eggs, and the vanilla to the cream cheese and beat until it is blended.

Step 5 –Pour the cream cheese mixture over the croissants.

Step 6 –Cover the baking dish and refrigerate the croissant mixture overnight.

Step 7 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 8 –Bake the croissant puff, covered, for 30 minutes.

Step 9 –Discard the cover from the baking dish and bake the croissant puff until it is puffed and golden, and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 15-20 minutes.
