Golden Cabbage

Follow the rainbow! It’ll take you to a big ‘ole pot of Golden Cabbage… which is way better than money, we think. Take a taste of this tender, buttery, salty side dish and you’ll see what we mean. It’s a very valuable dish to have on hand and everyone will feel so lucky to have enjoyed it. Golden Cabbage is a delicious treasure you must try for yourself! Trust us! Ingredients

  • 1 small head white cabbage, including outer green leaves
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Cut the cabbage in half; with the cut-side down, slice it as thinly as possible around the core, as though you are making coleslaw. Discard the core.

Step 2 –In a large sauté pan or heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat, melt the butter.

Step 3 –Add the sliced cabbage, the salt, and the pepper to the melted butter and sauté, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and begins to brown, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 4 –Serve warm.
