Granny’s Peanut Butter Pie

Granny’s Peanut Butter Pie was a staple at all of the gatherings, big or small, and we wanted to share this special treat with you! The fluffy, rich cream cheese and smooth peanut butter blended with some confectioners’ sugar really sweetens things up. All of that sitting atop a chocolate graham cracker crust crowned with crushed delicious peanut butter cups, mini chocolate chips, and a drizzle of melted peanut butter was the official dessert of any official celebration. Ingredients

For the pie:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 8 ounces imitation whipped cream
  • 1 chocolate graham cracker pie crust

For the topping:

  • 4 peanut butter cups, crushed
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter, melted

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, 1 cup of the peanut butter, and the confectioners’ sugar and beat until smooth.

Step 2 –Add the imitation whipped topping to the cream cheese mixture and fold it in until well-combined.

Step 3 –Pour the filling into the pie crust.

Step 4 –Evenly sprinkle the pie with the crushed peanut butter cups and the mini chocolate chips. Then drizzle with the remaining melted peanut butter.

Step 5 –Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours and up to overnight.

Step 6 –Slice and serve.
