Ham-It-Up Casserole

Live large! Live big! Chew the scenery! Oh wait, no, the scenery is mostly wood. Not particularly tasty. Hmmm, maybe we can direct that energy into eating something much, much better. This Ham-It-Up Casserole has pork energy with extra succulence, the broccoli adds welcomed floral and slightly bitter notes, and a delicious French fry base brings it all together! A savory cream sauce and a sharp parmesan topping really help to set the stage. Look up and admire the performance of Ham-It-Up Casserole!

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) package frozen French fries
  • 1 (16-ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 1/2 cups ham, cooked and cubed
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 10.75 ounces milk
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 –Cover the bottom of the baking dish with a layer of the French fries.

Step 4 –Add a layer of the broccoli.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the ham evenly over the top of the broccoli.

Step 6 –In a small bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, the milk, and the mayonnaise.

Step 7 –Pour the milk mixture evenly over the ingredients in the baking dish.

Step 8 –Sprinkle the top with the parmesan cheese.

Step 9 –Bake uncovered until it is bubbly, the parmesan cheese is browned, and the French fries are cooked through, about 1 hour.

Step 10 –Serve.
