Jack’s Stacked Potatoes

Ah, everyone loves Jack. He’s so happy, carefree, and smiley… it’s truly so contagious! One thing about him is he loves potatoes; specifically, when they’re piled on top of each other. Isn’t that fun? Well, we had to name Jack’s Stacked Potatoes after him for this very reason. They’re so buttery, cheesy, and just the right consistency. We understand why Jack has grown a strong fondness for this particular kind of spud. And who can blame him? The next time you get a craving for some taters, know you can always count on the beloved Jack’s Stacked Potatoes! You’re sure to love them just as much we do him!

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons butter, melted, plus more, to taste, for greasing the muffin tin
  • 8-10 gold potatoes, cut into 1/16-inch slices
  • 2 teaspoons parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Use the extra melted butter to grease a muffin tin.

Step 3 –Place the potato slices in a large mixing bowl.

Step 4 –Add the remaining 3 teaspoons of melted butter, the parmesan, the garlic powder, the thyme leaves, the salt, and the pepper to the potato slices and toss to coat.

Step 5 –Layer the potatoes in stacks, then place them into each individual muffin cup.

Step 6 –Bake the potatoes until the edges are golden-brown and the center is tender, about 55 minutes-1 hour.

Step 7 –Allow the potato stacks to cool for 5 minutes.
