Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter, plus more, to taste, for greasing the pan
  • 1 pound spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated, plus more, to taste, for topping
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (44-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 16 ounces small curd cottage cheese
  • 12 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • fresh parsley, to taste, chopped, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Using the extra butter, grease a 10×14-inch baking pan.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, mix the spaghetti, 1/4 pound of the butter, 1 cup of the parmesan cheese, and the eggs together.

Step 4 –Add the pasta mixture to the prepared pan.

Step 5 –Top the spaghetti mixture with the spaghetti sauce and the cottage cheese.

Step 6 –Sprinkle the extra parmesan cheese on top of the spaghetti mixture.

Step 7 –Bake the spaghetti mixture until it is heated through, about 30 minutes.

Step 8 –Top the spaghetti mixture with the mozzarella cheese and bake until melted, about 10 minutes.

Step 9 –Transfer the spaghetti mixture from the oven, top with the chopped parsley, and serve.
