Old School Chicken Rice Bake

As you reminisce rocking out to what is now considered “classic” rock with your friends, take a bite of this simple, cheesy, chicken dish for old times’ sake. As those flavors explode, you’ll remember taking that first solo drive and all of those late summer nights that you loved so much. They were some good times! Ingredients

  • 4 cups rotisserie chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups instant rice, uncooked
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, combine the chicken, the cream of chicken soup, the cream of celery soup, the cream of mushroom soup, the onion powder, the garlic powder, the pepper, the water, the milk, and the instant rice.

Step 4 –Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.

Step 5 –Bake the casserole until the top is golden and the cheese has melted, about 40-50 minutes.

Step 6 –Serve.
