Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • parsley, freshly chopped, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –In a medium bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.

Step 2 –Season the marinade generously with salt and pepper.

Step 3 –Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade.

Step 4 –Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to combine.

Step 5 –Let the chicken sit in the marinade for at least 20 minutes and up to overnight.

Step 6 –Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step 7 –Add the chicken and grill, basting it with the reserved marinade, until cooked through at 165 degrees F internally, about 6 minutes per side.

Step 8 –Garnish with parsley and serve.
