Pizzeria Roll-Ups

These crispy, melty delights are packed with pizza flavor that you’d normally only find in a cardboard box! Pizzeria Roll-Ups are crunchy on the outside and gooey-cheesy on the inside, with rich pizza sauce and spicy pepperoni loading up each one! They can be a quick and easy lunch with big flavors, and no delivery fees, or even a hot snack on the go! There’s no wrong way to roll with Pizzeria Roll-Ups!

Ingredients

  • 8 soft multi-grain or whole-wheat tortillas
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce, plus more, to taste, for dipping
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 48 slices pepperoni
  • cooking spray, to taste
  • olive oil, optional, to taste, for brushing
  • dried oregano, optional, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray.

Step 3 –Place 1 of the tortillas on a flat surface.

Step 4 –Spread 1 tablespoon of the pizza sauce over the tortilla.

Step 5 –Sprinkle about 1/8 of the mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza sauce layer.

Step 6 –Place 6 slices of the pepperoni down the center of the tortilla on top of the cheese layer.

Step 7 –Roll the tortilla up tightly and secure it with a toothpick.

Step 8 –Repeat the filling and rolling process with all of the remaining ingredients.

Step 9 –Place the roll-ups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet and spray them with the cooking spray.

Step 10 –Bake the roll-ups until they begin to crisp up, become brown, and the cheese begins to melt out of the ends, about 15 minutes.

Step 11 –Let the roll-ups cool for 5 minutes.

Step 12 –Brush the roll-ups with the olive oil and sprinkle them with the dried oregano.

Step 13 –Serve the roll-ups with the extra pizza sauce.
