Your first thought when you hear about Pizzeria Dip is “Oh, so it’s like pizza but in dip form?” And… yes, that’s exactly it. Super creamy, loaded up with classic Italian herbs and seasonings, topped with melty cheese and rich pizza sauce… it’s liquid pizza just waiting for chips or bread for dipping! Oh, and then stack pepperoni on top for an extra hit of savory flavor? That’s just for fun! Pizzeria Dip means never having to wait for delivery again… and never having to deal with the pizza box after dinner either!


  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 cup jarred pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices, plus more, to taste
  • 1 loaf sourdough bread, cut into cubes, to taste, for serving, can substitute tortilla chips
  • fresh basil leaves, optional, to taste, for garnish


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a bowl, add the cream cheese, 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, the cheddar cheese, the dried oregano, the dried basil, and the salt.

Step 3 –Spread the cream cheese mixture into a 9-inch pie pan or a 2-quart casserole dish.

Step 4 –Top the cream cheese mixture with the pizza sauce.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and the parmesan over the pizza sauce layer.

Step 6 –Add 1/4 cup of the pepperoni to the top of the cheese layer, adding more of the extra pepperoni as desired.

Step 7 –Bake until bubbly and the cheese is browned, about 25 minutes.

Step 8 –Allow the dip to cool for 5 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve the dip with the bread cubes, garnished with the fresh basil.
