Prosecco Poppers

How do you kick off a celebration? You could pop open the champagne, but you could also bring a glass of your favorite cocktail to the next level with a different kind of pop: Prosecco Poppers! These grapes are soaked in bubbly, joyous prosecco and sweet vodka and then frozen to ensure they are the most refreshing snack around; you could use them as a drinks garnish or as a boozy appetizer for any glittery occasion! Prosecco Poppers are easy, elegant, and a burst of fresh air! Sounds like a swinging time!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound red and green grapes
  • 15 wooden skewers
  • 1/2 bottle prosecco
  • 1 cup vodka

Directions

Step 1 –Skewer the grapes evenly amongst the wooden skewers.

Step 2 –Place the skewered grapes in a shallow baking dish.

Step 3 –Pour the prosecco and the vodka over the skewered grapes.

Step 4 –Soak the grapes in the alcohol for 1 hour.

Step 5 –Drain the alcohol (keep for cocktails, if desired) and freeze the skewers until frozen, at least 2 hours and up to overnight.

Step 6 –Serve.
