Ingredients
- 1 (2-pound) pork tenderloin
- 1 (12-ounce) can or bottle root beer
- 1 (18-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
- 8 burger buns, split and lightly toasted
Directions
Step 1 –Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker.
Step 2 –Pour the root beer over the tenderloin.
Step 3 –Cover the slow cooker and cook until the meat is fork-tender, about 6-7 hours on low heat.
Step 4 –Drain the meat well.
Step 5 –Using two forks, shred the meat.
Step 6 –Add the barbecue sauce and stir until the meat is well coated.
Step 7 –Serve on the burger buns!
