Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds top sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 bell peppers, color of your choice, thinly sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 6 (6-8-inch) flour tortillas

Optional toppings:

  • salsa, to taste
  • sour cream, to taste
  • guacamole, to taste
  • cilantro, to taste, chopped
  • lime wedges, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the grill on high heat.

Step 2 -In a large bowl, combine the steak, the peppers, the onions, the oil, the salt, the black pepper, the garlic powder, the cumin, the chili powder, the cayenne pepper, and the lime juice, tossing to combine.

Step 3 -Portion the steak mixture evenly into the center of four 12×12-inch pieces of foil.

Step 4 -Fold the foil tightly around the steak mixtures, creating packets.

Step 5 -Grill the foil packets until the steaks reach the desired level of doneness, about 7-8 minutes on each side.

Step 6 -Serve the fajitas immediately with the tortillas and your preferred toppings.
