Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine, uncooked
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 6 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil or 4 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
Directions
Step 1 –In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine to al dente according to the package directions.
Step 2 –While the pasta cooks, place the tomatoes, the green onions, the cheese, the basil, the garlic, the salt, and the pepper in a large bowl.
Step 3 –Drain the linguine, return it to the pot, and toss it with the butter.
