Few things are as classic as the joyful, excited murmur that follows a plate piled high with Gooey Lemon Bars as it leaves the kitchen and makes its way to the serving table… except of course when that very plate becomes empty in an instant. Gooey Lemon Bars have the sweet and tart sunny joy of lemon playfully dancing on your tastebuds with a melt-in-your-mouth buttery crust underneath. The texture is as ooey-gooey as the name suggests, all the better to appreciate the bursting citrus flavor. This is just like how Grandma used to make them… and in fact, they might be slightly better!
