The fluffy, golden-brown bread surrounds a core of melty, creamy mozzarella and is topped with herb butter and more cheese just for good measure. Easy Cheesy Stuffed Breadsticks can be dipped in garlic butter, marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or just eaten on their own; when you have breadsticks this rich, you can’t help but have a bite (or twelve)!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) can of pizza dough
  • 6 large mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
  • 1 ounce of mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Unroll the pizza dough and stretch it out to form a large rectangle.

Step 4 –Use a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to cut the rectangle into six even pieces.

Step 5 –Place a mozzarella cheese stick onto each piece of the dough.

Step 6 –Form the dough around each mozzarella cheese stick, making sure to seal the dough well, and pinch all seams tightly.

Step 7 –Arrange the breadsticks about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8 –Melt the butter. Stir the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning into the melted butter.

Step 9 –Brush the breadsticks with the melted butter mixture.

Step 10 –Top each breadstick with an even sprinkling of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 11 –Bake until the breadsticks are golden brown, about 12-14 minutes.

Step 12 –Let the breadsticks cool for 5 minutes.

Step 13 –Serve.
