Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups white sugar, divided
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup walnuts, optional, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease four 7×3-inch loaf pans.

Step 3 –In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of the white sugar and 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon.

Step 4 –Dust the loaf pans lightly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
