Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons jalapeño, seeds and ribs discarded, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • cilantro leaves, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Place the avocado, the cilantro, the lime juice, the jalapeño, the sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, the cumin, and the garlic powder into the bowl of a food processor.

Step 2 –Process the avocado mixture until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 3 –Taste for seasoning, and add the extra salt as needed.

Step 4 –Garnish with the cilantro and serve.
