Ingredients

For the everything bagel seasoning:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon salt

For the piggies:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 5 scallions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, optional
  • 1 (8-ounce) package crescent dough, unrolled and cut into 1-inch triangles
  • 1 (12-ounce) package mini hot dogs
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

Step 1 –Combine the sesame seeds, the poppy seeds, the garlic powder, the dried onion flakes, and 1 tablespoon of the salt.

Step 2 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 3 –Combine the cream cheese, the scallions, the remaining salt, the pepper, and the lemon juice.

Step 4 –Spread the cream cheese mixture over one side of each of the crescent dough strips.

Step 5 –Place 1 of the mini hot dogs on top of the cream cheese layer on each of the dough strips.

Step 6 –Wrap the dough around the hot dogs in the same manner as pigs in a blanket.

Step 7 –Brush the top of the piggies with the beaten egg.
