Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound bacon, sliced, halved widthwise
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages of frozen breakfast sausage links, fully cooked, thawed, halved
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed, divided

Directions

Step 1 –Line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil.

Step 2 –Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of sausage.

Step 3 –Place 1/2 cup of brown sugar in a shallow bowl and roll the bacon-wrapped sausages in the sugar.

Step 4 –Secure the bacon-wrapped sausages with a toothpick and place them in the prepared baking pan.

Step 5 –Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 6 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 7 –Sprinkle the wrapped sausages with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.

Step 8 –Bake the wrapped sausages until the bacon is crispy, about 35-40 minutes, turning once.

Step 9 –Sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.
