Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix, plus the ingredients called for on the package
  • 2 (3.4-ounce) packages instant banana pudding
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 (8-ounce) tub whipped topping
  • 10 vanilla wafers, crushed

Directions

Step 1 –In a 9×13-inch baking dish, prepare the cake mix according to the package directions.

Step 2 –Let the cake cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

Step 3 –In a bowl, add the instant banana pudding and the milk, stirring to combine.

Step 4 –Use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes in the top of the cake.

Step 5 –Pour the pudding over the cake, spreading it out evenly and pushing it into the holes.

Step 6 –Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
