Berry Biscuit Bake

Berries and cream are an iconic summer treat, embracing the warmth of the season and joy of bountiful fruit. The Berry Biscuit Bake makes that delicious, beloved pairing even more heartwarming with tender biscuit pieces floating in clouds of sweet, tangy cream filling, with bursts of fresh, tart berries mixed in! Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, divided
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries, divided
  • 1 (12.4-ounce, 8-count) can refrigerated blueberry-flavored sweet biscuits with icing

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spray an 8-inch square glass baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 –In a medium microwaveable bowl, microwave the cream cheese and the powdered sugar, uncovered, on high, until softened, about 20-40 seconds. Make sure to stir the mixture after 20 seconds.

Step 4 –Stir the cream cheese mixture until smooth.

Step 5 –Stir in 1/4 cup of the raspberries and 1/4 cup of the blueberries.

Step 6 –Open the biscuit can and separate the dough into eight biscuits, reserving the icing.

Step 7 –Cut each biscuit into four pieces and stir the pieces into the cream cheese mixture.

Step 8 –Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Step 9 –Bake until bubbling around the edges and the dough is baked through in the center, about 23-28 minutes.

Step 10 –Let the bake cool for 10 minutes.

Step 11 –Drizzle the reserved icing onto the biscuit bake.

Step 12 –Garnish the bake with the remaining raspberries and the remaining blueberries.

Step 13 –Serve.
