Creamy avocados are mashed together with citrusy lime juice, tingly salt, rich cumin, fresh scallions, sweet garlic, and spicy jalapenos. Juicy tomatoes and earthy cilantro are folded in to bring some chunky, tasty texture. Best-Ever Guacamole is easy to whip up, so in under 10 minutes, you’ll be ready to snack!

  • 3 large avocados, halved and pitted
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice, plus more, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded, minced, plus more, to taste
  • 1 small tomato, deseeded and diced
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped


Step 1 -Scoop out the avocado flesh and put it in a medium bowl.

Step 2 -Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of the lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, the cumin, the scallions, the garlic, and 1 of the jalapeños to the avocados.

Step 3 -Using a fork, mash the avocado mixture until blended but still very chunky.

Step 4 -Add the tomato and the cilantro to the avocado mixture. Fold until combined, being careful not to over-mix.

Step 5 -Taste and adjust the seasoning with the extra salt, the extra lime juice, and the extra jalapeños, as needed.

Step 6 -Serve.
