Ingredients
- 4 ripe Haas avocados, halved and seeds removed
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- hot pepper sauce, to taste
- 1/2 cup small red onion, diced
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more, to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper, plus more, to taste
- 1 medium tomato, seeded, diced into small pieces
Directions
Step 1 –Scoop the avocado out of their shells into a large bowl.
Step 2 –Add the lemon juice, the hot pepper sauce, the red onion, the garlic, 1 teaspoon of the salt, and 1 teaspoon of the black pepper to the avocados and toss well.
Step 3 –Use a sharp knife to slice through the avocadoes until they are finely diced while pressing to blend the ingredients.
Step 4 –Add the diced tomatoes to the avocado mixture and gently stir with a spoon to combine.
Step 5 –Taste the guacamole and season with the extra salt and the extra black pepper as needed.
Step 6 –Serve.
