Ingredients

  • 3 ounces deli ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, optional
  • 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a muffin tin.

Step 3 –In a small bowl, combine the diced ham and the cheese.

Step 4 –In a separate small bowl, mix the melted butter and the mustard.

Step 5 –Unwrap the biscuits and cut them open gently, like a sandwich bun, stopping about 1/4-inch from the edge of each one.

Step 6 –Open each biscuit and place 1 tablespoon of the ham and cheese mixture into each of the middles.

Step 7 –Close the biscuits and seal the edges by pinching them all the way around.

Step 8 –Place the biscuits in the muffin pan and brush them with the butter mixture.

Step 9 –Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.

Step 10 –Bake until browned, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 11 –Allow the biscuits to cool in the pan for 5 minutes.

Step 12 –Serve.
