The noodles are as tender as ever, and now they’re soaking up a deliciously rich and luscious cream sauce! Also in that sauce are savory bites of chicken, floral broccoli, and melty sharp cheddar! You’d never think those quick ramen snacks could make something so hearty and wholesome, yet here’s the Chicken Ramen Bake to show you a new way to bake!
Ingredients
- 6 (3-ounce) packages chicken-flavored instant ramen noodles, 1 flavor packet reserved, the remaining discarded or saved for a separate use
- 1 (8-ounce) container scallion cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 (10.8-ounce) bag frozen broccoli florets
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –Put the ramen noodle squares in a single layer at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 –Whisk together the scallion cream cheese, the milk, and the reserved ramen flavor packet in a medium bowl.
Step 4 –Pour the mixture over the ramen noodles in the baking dish.
Step 5 –Scatter the shredded chicken over the sauce and the noodles.
Step 6 –Scatter the broccoli over the chicken layer.
Step 7 –Sprinkle the ramen bake evenly with the cheddar cheese.
Step 8 –Bake until the noodles are cooked through, the cream sauce is bubbly, and the cheese melts, about 30-35 minutes.
Step 9 –Serve.
