Step 4 –Add the beef to the oil and cook until the beef is well-browned on each side and just about cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Step 5 –Transfer the browned patties to a clean platter.

Step 6 –Add the mushrooms to the same skillet over high heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are very browned, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 7 –Move the mushrooms to one side of the pan and add the remaining garlic cloves and the butter to the other side and cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 30-45 seconds.

Step 8 –Mix the mushrooms, the butter, and the garlic together, sprinkle in the flour, and stir until the mushroom mixture is completely mixed in and combined.

Step 9 –Pour the beef stock into the mushroom mixture and cook for 10 minutes. The gravy will be thick and slightly reduced.

Step 10 –Season the gravy with the salt and the pepper.

Step 11 –Add the patties to the gravy to reheat, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 12 –Garnish the steaks with the parsley and serve.
