Cookout Broccoli Salad

This Cookout Broccoli Salad was made for such a time as this! Cool, fresh, and crunchy, this sweet and creamy platter of greatness is just what you need the next time you fire up the grill. Let the good times roll and the bellies get full with this Cookout Broccoli Salad!

Ingredients

For the dressing:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

For the salad:

  • 8 cups small broccoli florets
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup smoked almonds, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, whisk the mayonnaise and the apple cider vinegar together until smooth.

Step 2 –Stir the sugar and the pepper into mayo mixture until combined.

Step 3 –Add the broccoli to the dressing mixture and stir to combine.

Step 4 –Add the cranberries, the cheese, the almonds, the bacon, and the red onion to the broccoli mixture and stir to combine.

Step 5 –Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour and up to 3 days.

Step 6 –Serve.
