Cream Cheese Bites

There are plenty of easy, tasty snacks out there, but few are quite as easy or quite as delicious as Cream Cheese Bites. These are like even more basic bagel bites: tangy cream cheese and joyful everything seasoning stuffed inside tortilla strips and pan-fried in rich butter to a golden brown. You don’t need anything else, not even dipping sauce, to enjoy Cream Cheese Bites; all you need is an appetite and a desire for a warm, homemade treat that will knock your socks off without any effort. The only real question is whether to make one batch or two!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 6 (8-inch) medium tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons everything seasoning, divided
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Step 1 –Evenly spread the cream cheese over the tortillas.

Step 2 –Sprinkle each tortilla with 1 teaspoon of the everything seasoning.

Step 3 –Roll the seasoned tortillas up.

Step 4 –Cut the tortillas into 1-inch bites, making 6 pieces from each tortilla.

Step 5 –Melt the butter over medium heat in a large frying pan.

Step 6 –Add the bites to the hot butter and cook, flipping once, until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.

Step 7 –Serve warm.
