Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup store-bought basil pesto
  • 3-4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, plus more to taste, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4-6 basil leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and the basil pesto together.

Step 4 –Lay the chicken breasts flat into the prepared baking dish and evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the top.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the chicken with the cheese.

Step 6 –Bake, uncovered, until the chicken breasts’ internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, about 30-45 minutes.

Step 7 –Garnish the chicken with the tomatoes and the basil.

Step 8 –Serve.
