Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- black pepper, to taste
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- parsley, to taste, chopped, for garnish

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 –Place the chicken halves in a single layer in a prepared baking dish and sprinkle both sides of each piece with the garlic powder, the Italian seasoning, and the black pepper.
Step 4 –Use a pastry brush to evenly brush the cream of mushroom soup on top of each of the chicken halves.
Step 5 –Sprinkle the chicken halves with the mozzarella cheese.
Step 6 –Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake until the chicken halves reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 7 –Serve the chicken garnished with the parsley.
