Crescent Roll Pizzas

It’s time to elevate your pizza-flavored snacks! Leave the packaged stuff in the freezer, because these Crescent Roll Pizzas are way, way better! And don’t worry! They’re not much harder to make. With a tiny bit of extra effort, you’ll get to experience a pocketful of cheesy, meaty, gooeyness that’ll make it all worth it. Oh, and don’t forget the marinara sauce for dunking to really experience these Crescent Roll Pizzas to their fullest potential! You’ll never go back, trust us!

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce, 8-count) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 16 slices pepperoni or salami
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • marinara sauce, to taste, store-bought or homemade, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a large half-sheet baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Separate the crescent roll dough into the 8 respective perforated triangles.

Step 4 –On each of the dough triangles, spread 1 tablespoon of the tomato sauce and top with 2 slices of the pepperoni and 2 tablespoons of the cheddar cheese.

Step 5 –Gently roll each of the dough triangles up, starting with the wide end, and pinch the ends to seal.

Step 6 –Arrange the filled triangles, seam-side down, on the prepared baking sheet and evenly brush them with the beaten egg.

Step 7 –Sprinkle the filled crescents equally with the black pepper and the parmesan cheese.

Step 8 –Bake the filled crescents until they are golden-brown, about 15 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve the filled crescents with the marinara sauce.
