Just look at those layers: crunchy lettuce, sweet carrots, tangy onions, and crispy cucumbers. You see the creamy dressing? It’s so good. And the tender peas, salty bacon, and smooth cheese can’t dare be overlooked, either! Now you know any time you see a big ‘ole crowd from now on, it’s probably not a celebrity sighting or a parade, the chances are higher it’s a group grabbing at some Crowded Salad!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning blend, of your choice
  • 1 bunch romaine, torn
  • 2 medium carrots, grated
  • 1 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, the milk, the dill weed, and the seasoning blend together.

Step 2 –In a 4-quart glass serving bowl, layer the romaine, the carrots, the onion, and the cucumber.

Step 3 –Pour the dressing on top of the veggies and sprinkle with the peas, the cheese, and the bacon.

Step 4 –Cover and refrigerate until serving.
