Easy Baked Cod

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 pound cod fillets, cut into 4 pieces

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Mix the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.

Step 3 –Beat the eggs in a second bowl.

Step 4 –Mix the breadcrumbs and panko together in a third bowl.

Step 5 –Coat the fish in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and then in the breadcrumbs.

Step 6 –Place the coated fish on a baking sheet.

Step 7 –Spray the fish with vegetable oil spray.

Step 8 –Bake the fish until browned, about 12-15 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve.
