Heavenly Banana Dessert

It even looks like a cloud! This Heavenly Banana Dessert gathers an angelic choir of creamy, delicious flavors, with a cookie and banana base and a fluffy, rich, sweet, and luscious pudding center. On top is whipped cream for that truly ethereal, divine texture and flavor! You’ll be on cloud nine as soon as you enjoy your first bite of our Heavenly Banana Dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (5.1-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (11-ounce) package vanilla wafer cookies
  • 5 ripe bananas, sliced, plus more, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, beat the sweetened condensed milk and the cream cheese with a hand mixer until fluffy.

Step 2 –Add in the pudding mix, the milk, and the vanilla and continue beating until well-mixed.

Step 3 –In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Step 4 –Add the powdered sugar to the heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form.

Step 5 –Set 2 1/2 cups of the whipped cream aside for topping.

Step 6 –Fold the remaining whipped cream into the pudding mixture.

Step 7 –Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan or two 9×9-inch pans with the vanilla wafers, then top the wafers with the 5 sliced bananas.

Step 8 –Spread the pudding mixture over the top of the banana layer, ensuring the bananas are completely covered.

Step 9 –Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped cream.

Step 10 –Cover and refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 11 –Garnish with the extra banana slices and serve.
