Hot Dip

It’s the hottest thing trending on appetizer lists everywhere… okay, maybe that’s not true, but it should be! Grab your favorite tortilla chips and dive into some Hot Dip! Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced jalapeño peppers with juice
  • 1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, 1 diced, 1 sliced into rings, divided
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 (1-ounce) package ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated, divided

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the sour cream, the canned jalapeño peppers with juice, the green chiles, the diced jalapeño, the cilantro, and the ranch dressing mix and mix until smooth.

Step 3 –Add 1/2 of the cheddar cheese and 1/2 of the parmesan cheese to the cream cheese mixture and stir to combine.

Step 4 –Spread the cream cheese mixture into a baking dish.

Step 5 –Bake the dip until the top is warm and bubbling, about 25 minutes.

Step 6 –Arrange the jalapeño slices over the top of the cream cheese mixture.

Step 7 –Top the jalapeño slices with the remaining cheddar cheese and the remaining parmesan cheese.

Step 8 –Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake until the top is warm and bubbling, about 25 minutes.
