Mmm, there’s nothing like sipping on a mug of hot chocolate to shake off the winter blues. Well, except maybe for sharing Hot Cocoa Dip with your friends and loved ones! This creamy, fluffy, rich chocolatey dip tastes like the perfect hot chocolate, except cool and more solid! Top it with more chocolate, dip graham crackers into it, and enjoy the winter jollity that Hot Cocoa Dip represents! It’s a fun and festive treat that really requires no holiday to enjoy.

Ingredients

For the dip:

  • 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (7-ounce) container marshmallow fluff
  • 1/3 cup hot cocoa mix (about 4 ounces), plus more, to taste

Optional toppings:

  • mini marshmallows, to taste
  • chocolate chips, to taste
  • candy canes, to taste

Optional, for serving:

  • graham crackers, to taste
  • strawberries, to taste
  • vanilla wafer cookies, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, add the whipped topping, the marshmallow fluff, and 1/3 cup of the hot cocoa mix and beat by hand with a whisk or with an electric mixer until the dip is light brown and the mixture is thoroughly combined.

Step 2 –Add the extra hot cocoa mix, as needed, if the color of the dip looks too light, then whisk or beat to combine. You may not need the extra hot cocoa mix.

Step 3 –Using a spatula, place the dip into a serving bowl.

Step 4 –Top the dip with the mini marshmallows, the chocolate chips, and the candy canes.

Step 5 –Chill until ready to serve.

Step 6 –Serve with the graham crackers, the strawberries, and the vanilla wafer cookies.
