A normal person following Islam should do his prayers after 15 minutes of adhan. It is a strict rule that is followed by the whole Muslim community. They are staunch believers of God and do not intend to do anything that might upset or angry Him. They are very thorough with their work. The 15 minutes period is exact and they do not delay that or start early. They are very punctual regarding religious matters.
Muslims have to pray five times a day and during the month of Ramadan, they have to follow a strict set of rules. An adult person cannot eat or drink anything from sunrise to sunset. Why Does It Take Long To Pray After Adhan?
It does not take long after adhan to pray. The Muslims are just following the rules that are mentioned in their religious text, the Holy Quran. They are very punctual people and the rules written are a must. The prayers times are fixed and have been followed for centuries. There is no question of being late. Only if a person is late in starting his or her prayer, it is only at that point that the time changes.
The time for each prayer differs from the other. The first prayer is called Fajr, and it starts at twilight at approximately 3:33 AM and ends at sunrise. The second prayer is called Duhur. It starts at noon when the sun is a little less than 90 degrees overhead and ends when the sun is at 26 degrees. The third one is called Asr, and it starts at the end of Duhur’s window and ends when the Sun’s disk is over the horizon.
The fourth one is called Maghrib. It starts just after sunset and ends with the disappearance of the white twilight. The fifth and last prayer is called Isha. It starts after the end of Maghrib and ends before the appearance of the twilight. They follow the movement of the sun to known the prayer times and after finishing their prayer, they hug each other as a form of greetings.
