Why Do Grapes Last For This Long In The Fridge?
Grapes are already rich in water. If kept in the place where there is moisture present, it will take the grapes soggy and unfit. Another factor that affects the goodness of grapes is humidity. If grapes are kept in a relatively humid place, the ripening process will get doubled in speed. They may cause the over-ripening of grapes.
Grapes are well known for their use in the formation of wine. That means microorganisms work quickly with grapes. It should be kept in mind that storing grapes in the fridge for too long(more than 2 weeks) is also not right. When done so the grapes may become soggy and their texture and taste will taste to a large extent.
