Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter, melted

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Step 3 –In a large mixing bowl, mix the sugar with 1 tablespoon flour.

Step 4 –Add in the apples and cranberries and mix thoroughly to combine.

Step 5 –Pour the apple/cranberry mixture into the greased baking dish.

Step 6 –In a separate bowl add the oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter, and 1/3 cup flour, mixing to combine.

Step 7 –Crumble the oatmeal mixture over the apples and cranberries in the baking dish.

Step 8 –Put the baking dish into the oven and bake until the fruit is tender and the crumble is crispy, for about 45 to 55 minutes.

Step 9 –Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Step 10 –Serve warm!
