Ingredients
- 24 Medjool dates, slit lengthwise and pitted
- 4 ounces goat cheese
- 3 tablespoons pistachios, crushed
- sea salt, to taste
- ground black pepper, to taste
- smoked paprika, to taste
- honey, optional, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Open the dates, making V-shaped bowls.
Step 2 -Fill each of the dates evenly with the goat cheese.
Step 3 -Evenly sprinkle the crushed pistachios on top of each of the goat cheese layers.
Step 4 -Top each with a light sprinkle of the salt, the pepper, and the paprika, being careful not to add too much as it can overpower the flavors of the dates.
Step 5 -Drizzle on a little of the honey.
Step 6 -Serve!
