Sautéed Spinach

There’s no excuse for not adding greens to your dish! Especially when something as simple and delicious as Sautéed Spinach exists. Wilted in the best way, this nourishing side is a tasty addition to whatever else it is you’re chowing down on. It takes less than 10 minutes to whip up Sautéed Spinach, so go ahead and go green!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach, washed
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil.

Step 2 –Add the garlic to the oil and stir for 30 seconds.

Step 3 –Add the spinach and cook, while stirring, until the spinach leaves have wilted, about 4-6 minutes.

Step 4 –Transfer the skillet from the heat and season the spinach with the salt and the pepper.

Step 5 –Serve.
