Ingredients

  • 9 marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate ice cream
  • 1/3-1/2 cup whole milk
  • hot fudge sauce, to taste
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 graham cracker or butter cookie, plus more to taste, for garnish
  • whipped cream, lightly sweetened, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Toast 6 marshmallows over a gas flame, about 30 seconds per side.

Step 2 –Thread the remaining marshmallows onto a skewer.

Step 3 –In a blender, add the chocolate ice cream and the milk and blend until it is smooth and just pourable.

Step 4 –Add the toasted marshmallows to the chocolate mixture and pulse to combine.

Step 5 –Spread the hot fudge on the sides of a tall glass.

Step 6 –Add the vanilla ice cream to the glass and crumble in the graham cracker.

Step 7 –Top the cracker crumbles with more of the hot fudge.

Step 8 –Pour the milkshake into the glass, ensuring it is not filled to the top, to leave room for the toppings.

Step 9 –Pipe the whipped cream on top of the milkshake.

Step 10 –Dip a few graham cracker pieces in the hot fudge and arrange them in the whipped cream.

Step 11 –Toast the skewered marshmallows until they are golden-brown.

Step 12 –Arrange the skewer in the milkshake.

Step 13 –Serve the milkshake with a straw, a bowl, and a spoon.
