Too Too Good Casserole

This casserole isn’t just good… it’s so much better than that! It’s Too Too Good Casserole! Savory chicken in a creamy, cheesy, tangy chicken sauce with crunchy fresh broccoli, would make anyone smile. But throw on some buttery, crunchy breadcrumbs? Oh yes, we’re going way past good cooking and right into the realm of the great! Too Too Good Casserole is just that… too, too good!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli, cooked and chopped
  • 2 (10.5-ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a bowl, add the chicken, the broccoli, the cream of chicken soup, the sour cream, and the pepper and stir to combine.

Step 3 –Add in 1 cup of the cheddar cheese and mix to combine.

Step 4 –Pour the chicken mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.

Step 5 –Top the casserole with the remaining cheddar.

Step 6 –In a bowl, add the breadcrumbs and the butter and stir to combine.

Step 7 –Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole.

Step 8 –Bake until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted, about 30-35 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve.
